1. Personal information
1.1. What is personal information?
Airshells requests your personal and user-related information when you purchase services on one of our websites, or when you sign up for one of our newsletters or ask us to contact you. It is mainly information such as name, address, postal code, email, or phone number. When purchasing or signing up for a service, mandatory information is clearly marked on the form. Submission of other information in connection with the purchase or registration of a service is optional.
1.2. Storage of personal information
When you purchase services on one of our websites, we need your personal information such as documentation regarding payment, delivery, a possible cancellation deadline and/or reclamation rights. You may have provided your information by signing up for newsletters, or when filling out a contact form.
We keep your information as long as you are a subscriber or receive our newsletters, and as long as it is necessary for us to comply with any legal obligations. After this, we will delete your information upon request.
1.3. What does Airshells use personal information for?
The personal information collected about you is initially used to complete the purchase or service. In addition, the information is used by Airshells and our partners to gain greater knowledge of you and your preferences. This may include, among other things, studies and analyses aimed at improving our products, services, and technologies. The information will not be disclosed to third parties, unless you give separate consent to this, or the Personal Data Act exceptionally permits the disclosure of customer information.
If you have consented to receive direct marketing with news and offers etc., Airshell may use the information collected to target and personalise the marketing you will receive via phone, letter, or electronic media.
1.4. Protection of personal information
According to the Personal Data Act, your personal information must be kept secure and confidential. We store the information you provide in computers with restricted access. These are located in controlled facilities / environments, and our security measures are regularly monitored to ensure that our user information is handled properly and in compliance with your rights as a user.
We cannot guarantee 100% security of data transfers over the Internet. This means that there is a risk that others will illegally force access to information when data is sent and stored electronically. Please note that you provide your personal information at own risk.
1.5. Changes in the processing of personal data
The rapid development of the Internet means that changes in our processing of personal data may be necessary on an on-going basis. We therefore reserve the right to update and change guidelines for the processing of personal data. If we do, we will of course correct the date of “last update” at the bottom of the page, so that you always have access to the updated and current version. In the event of significant changes, we will of course notify you in the form of a visible notice on our website.
