Airshells signs agreement with Norwegian

Press release               December 3rd, 2012

Airshells signs agreement with Norwegian for protection of luggage

„« Airshells and Norwegian have signed an agreement to offer Airshells' protective bags for passengers traveling with Norwegian. Customers have the option to conveniently rent protective bags directly when booking their trip. The bags provide effective and affordable protection of prams, strollers, wheelchairs and bicycles during flight „« The cooperation will start in the 28 airports where Airshells are currently present. Subsequently, additional airports will be opened to offer this service to as many Norwegian customers as possible „« Airshells is the world's largest and leading provider of rental bags for effective and affordable protection during flight. There have been more than 50,000 rentals since the company was founded in 2005, and with the new agreement with Norwegian, Airshells' strong growth will continue into 2013
Airshells and Norwegian have signed an agreement which will allow millions of Norwegian's annual customers direct access to rent Airshells' protective bags as an integrated part of the Norwegian booking system. This will allow customers the opportunity to rent a protective case for a low price, and thereby minimize the risk of starting or ending a trip with a damaged pram, stroller, wheelchair or bicycle.
Kim Christensen, CEO of Airshells says: "It is with great pleasure and pride that Airshells can announce this agreement with Norwegian. The fact that a large and successful airline has decided to partner with Airshells demonstrates the significant value Airshells offers both travelers and travel operators. We will do everything in our power to ensure that travelers with Norwegian have a positive travel experience".
Lars Sande, Head of Sales at Norwegian says: "At Norwegian we always do our utmost to provide our customers with the best travel experience, and with this collaboration our customers now have an easy and affordable solution to guard against damage to their belongings during transport. We look forward to working with Airshells".
